Mr. Nicholas P. Krut is the senior cyber security engineer for Colorado’s leading MSSP, Red Team USA, in Denver. He is a leading innovator in the area of cyber security for the legal and financial sectors. Mr. Krut began his Scientific & Engineering career by graduating from Youngstown State University with a BSEE (Electrical Engineering).
Upon graduation, Nick worked as an Advanced Research & Development Scientist at the Air Force Avionics Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB. One of the projects he helped to develop was the “Forward-looking Infrared System” (FLIR) technology used on today’s fighter aircraft. Additionally, he led a team of computer scientists to develop “one of the most automated electro-optical sensor evaluation facilities in the country” – the Air Force Targeting System’s Characterization Facility. Concurrently, he earned a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University. Nick was promoted to be the project engineer for the Instrumentation and Flight Safety System of the MX ballistic missile at the Air Force Plant Representative Office at Lockheed Martin.
Nick next turned his visionary efforts toward developing systems in the emerging office and professional computer industry. Nick formed and operated PC Systems, Inc. The firm designs and implements secure computer systems for a number of Denver’s law firms. Other clients included Blue Cross/Shield and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Mr. Krut has helped to develop proprietary procedures that his cyber security company, Red Team USA, implements in its subscription-based Cyber Protection Services. Nick’s current focus is creating secure stationary and portable data platforms for the medical industry. Nick has co-authored scores of “cyber security best-practices” videos that are viewed internationally at www.RedTeamWorldwide.com. He is a member of the FBI’s Infragard Program.

In the past, Dr. Vequist was an executive with HCA managing the human resources for a large subsidiary (Methodist Healthcare) in San Antonio, Texas, USA and prior to that was a consultant with Ernst & Young LLP. Moragianni, Director of the International Patient Program at Boston IVF, is a native of Greece and graduated from Cornell University with a B.Sc. in Human Biology and Health & Society. She also obtained an M.Sc. degree in Physiology & Biophysics from Georgetown University and then completed 8 years of extensive training from Drexel University College of Medicine, where she received a Medical Humanities Scholar Award and served as Chief Resident in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Abington Memorial Hospital (Temple University School of Medicine) in Philadelphia. After Somatogen, he led the management of programs and development initiatives at Affymetrix, the leading innovator in microarray technology. David began his business development career at Deltagen then moved over the lead the U.S. operations for atugen AG, a Berlin-based functional genomics company. At Bioseek, David led the business development efforts for one of the first systems biology companies.

Glenn Cohen, JD is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Law School and Co-Director of the Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics at Harvard Law School. Prof. Cohen is one of the world’s leading experts on the intersection of bioethics (sometimes also called “medical ethics”) and the law, as well as health law. He also teaches civil procedure. From Seoul to Krakow to Vancouver, Professor Cohen has spoken at legal, medical, and industry conferences around the world and his work has been covered on PBS, NPR, in the Boston Globe, and several other media venues.
Prof. Cohen’s current projects relate to reproduction/reproductive technology and to medical tourism – the travel of patients who are residents of one country, the “home country,” to another country, the “destination country,” for medical treatment. His past work has included projects on end of life decision-making, FDA regulation, research ethics, and commodification.
His award-winning academic work has appeared in the journals such as the Stanford, Southern California, Minnesota, Iowa, and Hastings Law Reviews, the Harvard Journal of Law and Negotiation, the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology, the Food and Drug Law Journal, the Journal of Law, Medicine, and Ethics and the Hastings Center Report.
Prior to joining the faculty, Prof. Cohen served as a clerk to Chief Judge Michael Boudin, U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He also served as an appellate attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division, Appellate staff, where he acted as lead counsel in over 12 Circuit Court cases and represented the United States in the U.S. Supreme Court, in conjunction with the Solicitor General’s office. Immediately before joining the faculty he was a fellow at the Petrie-Flom Center.

In addition to this appointment, Dr. Kleefield is an Associate Professor at the University of Nice Medical School in France, and Senior Clinical Quality Consultant, KarePartners, India.. Prior to HMS, Dr. Kleefield served on the faculty of the Harvard Business School. and the Director of Clinical Quality for Harvard Medical International. Additionally, Sharon was the Director of Clinical Quality Initiatives at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a 720-bed Harvard affiliated teaching hospital for 9 years.
Dr. Kleefield has provided education and training in quality management, performance measurement, safety and accreditation preparation to health care systems and hospitals in the following countries: Brazil, Bahamas, China, Colombia, France, Greece, India, Italy, Korea, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, and the United Kingdom. This experience includes, but is not limited to working with hospitals, health care systems, and most recently, with education and training for standards and accreditation worldwide.
