Lauri Berger de Brito
Global IVF, Co-Founder
Presentation: Global IVF Panel-Using Technology to Build an International Practice
Lauri Berger de Brito is a former television producer, director and writer who spent 6 ½ years trying to create her family. After countless miscarriages and infertility treatments, she had her children through the help of a gestational surrogate and egg donor. As co-director of the long-standing and reputable Los Angeles based company, Agency for Surrogacy Solutions, Inc., Ms. Berger de Brito channels her former professional skills into assisting clients world-wide in creating their own families. Ms. Berger de Brito now jokingly says she 'produces' babies instead of television shows… and is proud of every single one!
Taking a cue from the growing global fertility trend, Ms. Berger de Brito with her business partner, Kathryn Kaycoff-Manos, created the immediately successful informational website – GlobalIVF, Inc. - specifically directed at patients looking to travel cross-border for fertility treatments. Because of their expertise in the global IVF market and specifically how clinics can better promote themselves to attract and keep international clients (whether travelling to or from the United States), the two women have become highly sought after consultants by many IVF clinics and medical tourism companies around the world.
Ms. Berger de Brito is a proud member of PVED (board member), ASRM, ESHRE, RESOLVE, AFA and EDSPA. Ms. Berger de Brito (along with her business partner) have become the "go-to" experts for fertility travel in the United States and abroad - appearing on ABC World News Tonight and numerous radio shows including Voice of America Network, Surrogacy Law Radio, Conceive Radio and "Dare To Dream" on KYHY 92.5FM. Ms. Berger de Brito has travelled extensively and, along with Ms. Kaycoff-Manos, continues to research and explore fertility options/companies/clinics worldwide. Her abstracts on cross-border travel for US residents pursuing surrogacy and egg donation abroad were recently featured at ESHRE in Rome.

Matthew Feschbach
CEO, Okyanos Heart Insititute
Presentation: The Okyanos Story: Building a Global Care Facility with Stem Cell Research
Matthew Feshbach is CEO and co-founder of Okyanos Heart Institute which brings a new standard of care and quality of life to patients with coronary artery disease (CAD), utilizing a European-Union approved cell processing device. Based in Freeport, The Bahamas, Okyanos Heart Institute is a Center of Excellence (CoE) adhering to U.S. surgical center standards.
Prior to the creation of Okyanos Heart Institute, Matt's career spanned more than 30 years as an investor. Extensive research led Matt to believe that stem cell therapy could provide an answer to the largest unmet healthcare need in the Western world: heart disease.
Along with Manuel Vianna, Matt founded Okyanos Heart Institute to provide stem cell therapy for people with CAD who had exhausted all available options from the current standard of care. The Greek god of rivers, "Okyanos" symbolizes the primary mechanism of action that these adult stem cells have on ischemic (lack of blood flow) heart tissue, the result of the plaque deposits in the coronary arteries. The cells, derived from a person's adipose (fat) tissue, create new blood vessels, a process known as angiogenesis. The cells facilitate blood flow in the heart and improve heart function, as measured by a rigorous clinical trial known as the PRECISE trial.
Maximizing quality of life for patients and their families is the singular focus of Matt and his team.
